An unexpected diagnosis in a young vascular surgeon highlights a growing concern in image-guided medicine. This case illustrates how cumulative low-dose radiation exposure may affect the lens long before symptoms develop and demonstrates the measurable impact of strengthened occupational safety practices.
How safe is a simplified C1 fixation technique when critical vascular anatomy varies from patient to patient? Using CT angiography from more than 200 individuals, this study provides valuable anatomical data that may help spine surgeons balance technical simplicity against the risk of carotid artery injury.
Over a decade apart, two year-long surveys reveal remarkable stability in the airborne fungal environment of lower northern Thailand. The findings offer clinicians and allergy specialists an updated regional map of mold exposure and highlight seasonal periods when susceptible patients may be at greatest risk.
