Risk Factors Associated with Exacerbation Frequency in Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease
COPD exacerbation, a crisis in healthcare systems, flared up by multi-factors; smoking, one of them, including current and ex-smoking, is strongly supported by the present study with significant associations; baseline lung function; and BMI are suggested to be considered for further investigations; chronic dust exposures (i.e., coal and organic dust), preventable and yet under-acknowledged factors, especially in lower-to-middle income countries where agriculture and factory works are the main income of their rural populations, which requires more attention to be given.

Characteristics and Long-Term Outcome of Adenocarcinoma of the Esophagogastric Junction: A 23-Year Experience at a Tertiary Hospital in Thailand
This study is the first study on adenocarcinoma of the esophagogastric junction (AEG) in Thailand, showing increasing number comparable to those in Western countries. A greater proportion of AEG cases in Thailand were classified as Siewert type 2 and 3. The survival prognosis was still unfavorable and requires improvement in upcoming instances.
