Osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ) is strongly associated with the use of aminobisphosphonates. Herein, the authors report two cases of ONJ after intravenous bisphosphonate therapy including clinical presenta- tions, X-ray, and pathological findings. Since there is no definite treatment for ONJ, the focus should be on prevention with a dental evaluation for all patients before starting bisphosphonates.
